NON-FERROUS METALS & SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS

YOUR SUPPLIER OF NON-FERROUS METALS AND SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS

We supply non-ferrous metals and the subsequent semi-finished products – thanks to our large stock also on short notice. We offer semi-finished products in all sizes and amounts made as centrifugal casting, continuous casting, dead-mould casting and gravity die casting. Furthermore, we also offer pre-cut material as single pieces or series, according to customer specifications.

OUR NON-FERROUS METALS

We manufacture our non-ferrous metals according to the following norms:

  • DIN EN 1982
  • DIN EN 12163
  • DIN EN 12167
  • DIN EN 12420
  • DIN EN 12164

USAGE AREAS OF NON-FERROUS METALS

RED BRASS AND BRONZE

are cast materials that are mainly made of copper, zinc, tin and lead. Their good sliding and dry-running operation properties are relatively safe from wear, corrosion and seawater.

Typical areas of application:

  • Hydraulic equipment
  • Small and very small bearing bushes
  • Friction discs
  • Medium to highly stressed adjustment gibs and slide rails in machine tools
  • Arbors
  • Compression bearings

We will deliver raw, semi-finished and finished parts.

SPECIAL BRASS

Special brasses have high strength properties and are characterised by their durability in cold, hot and agressive water. When there are high demands to sliding stress, a high wear resistance is needed. Therefore, good lubrication is required.

Typical areas of application:

  • Slide bearings with high stress
  • Components in water construction
  • Helical gears and worm gears
  • Propeller shafts and stirrer shafts
  • Non-sparking tools
  • Casings
  • Suction rolls
  • Bearings for forging machines and eccentric presses
  • Lagerungen für Schmiedemaschinen und Exzentrierpressen
  • pressure nuts
  • Interiors of extreme pressure valves
  • Bearings in industrial furnaces

ALUMINIUM MULTI-ALLOY BRONZES

Aluminium multi-alloy bronzes have a good strength and corrosion resistance for highly stressed parts. They are seawater-resistant and have excellent corrosion behaviour.

Typical areas of application for this alloy are:

  • Impellers
  • Pump casings
  • Valve plugs
  • Bearing bushes

TIN BRONZES

Tin bronzes with their high wear-resistance and good dry-running properties are characterised by their heavy machinability and their high hardness. For these reasons, we recommend these with surface hardened shafts and high surface qualities.

  • Possible areas of application:
  • Piston bushings
  • Tilt bearings and toggle lever bearings
  • Spindle nuts
  • Kolbenbuchsen
  • Pistons and pump bodys for oil hydraulics

Delivered as raw material, semi-finished or finished material.
